Claude Code for developers

Agentic engineering with Claude Code.

A practical full day on using Claude Code in real development work. As agents take on more of the coding, the work shifts to defining the task, giving the agent context and verifying what comes back.

Who it is for

For people who ship code and want agents in the loop.

Developers, tech leads and technical founders who want hands-on experience running agents in their own development workflow. No previous Claude Code experience needed.

What you will learn

How software work is organised around agents.

Every agent runs the same loop: brief, act, check, improve. During the day you run it first with a yes at every round, then from outside it, setting the goal and stepping in when it matters.

  • Structuring work across exploration, planning, implementation and verification
  • Context engineering with CLAUDE.md, memory and compaction
  • Verification loops that connect implementation, testing and review
  • Background agents, isolated Git worktrees and parallel work
  • Subagents for focused research, implementation and review
  • Turning lessons into instructions, tests and skills you reuse

How we work

You leave with the repository you built during the day.

The day runs on development tasks in a repository that grows as we go. Work in your own codebase where it fits. At the end it holds what you built and what you learned.

Project instructions

A CLAUDE.md that tells the agent how the project works.

Verification checks

Tests and checks the agent runs before it reports back.

A skill

One reusable skill for a task you do often.

A workflow for agent work

How you run, review and merge what agents produce.

Our tools, resources and skills

What we use ourselves, shared on the day.
