What is Claude Code?

An agent in your files.

Claude Code is an AI agent that works on the files on your computer. You describe a task in plain language. It reads the files you point it to, does the work and shows you the result. Claude Cowork is the same agent in a simpler wrapping, with folders and a chat window and less to set up. At the bootcamp you use both, and you leave knowing which one to reach for.

Tasks people bring to the bootcamp

  • Turn a folder of 400 invoices into one spreadsheet, sorted by supplier and month.
  • Read twenty monthly reports and pull the key numbers into one overview.
  • Compare two versions of a contract and list what changed.
  • Take a meeting transcript and write the summary and the follow-ups for each person.
